DOES COFFEE WITH HONEY IS GOOD?
Maybe some of you have heard that coffee is bad for you. The fact - it is not! maybe too much caffeine is bad, and as caffeine is a constituent of coffee, perhaps this is where the idea that coffee is bad for you comes from. Caffeine is a stimulant and the jolt of energy we get from a good cup of coffee.
Too much caffeine is bad for you, but don't give up the coffee, rather switch to decaffeinated. Probably you will ask "why", the antioxidants in coffee is very high, which actually the highest source of antioxidants in the diet, even more so than fruit and veggie. You know that antioxidant destroy the free radicals rampaging around our bodies, causing harm to our health.
So stay with coffee, it is good for you. Just becarful what you put into that.

If you like sweeten your coffee and want healthier option, then the great alternative is to use honey to sweeten your coffee. Honey is natural product and also can be add as a subtle flavour to your coffee. There are several types of honey available, among them citrus and coastal shrubs, each with a particular flavour. Honey also contains vitamins and minerals including magnesium, potassium, iron and calcium, as well as vitamins A, C, and most of the B’s.
Adding a tea spoon of honey into your coffee and stir well, if you need more sweeter, just add more until you happy with the taste.
Is Honey is better then sugar?
Honey is undoubtedly better. Sugar is absolutely devoid of any nutrients, as soon as it hits the stomach, its becomes strongly acidic! while honey actually contain more calories than sugar, but is unlikely to cause rapid spike in your blood sugar levels. Expert agree that a spike in blood sugar levels may cause hunger and make you want to eat, where as honey could actually be beneficial in weight loss efforts, by not making you hungry when used in coffee.
Other health benefit relating to honey and coffee
A mixture of honey and coffee was significantly more effective in relieving a persistent cough than in the steroid control group tests. the treatment was further rated as safe, effective, inexpensive and pleasant tasting. The jury is still out as to why the mixture works so well.
Bear in mind that a cough that just will not go away in spite of all your best efforts, could require medical intervention to identify the root of the problem.
